The Lake Pleasant Life in Arizona
Lake Pleasant in Peoria, Arizona is a great destination with a lot of family fun activities. With so much to do and see, you can spend days exploring the open waters and surrounding trails.
Recreational Boating and Water Sports
Bring your Wakesurf, wakeboard, or waterski boat or see all that Lake Pleasant’s 10,000 acres of water space has to offer. You have to see Lake Pleasant from the water to soak in all of its beautiful scenery. Not to mention the cliff jumping and wild donkeys.
Wakesurfing, Wakeboarding and Waterskiing
Fill up the ballast, fat sacks and add some lead to create a massive wave behind your Wakesurf boat and enjoy the ride. If wakeboarding and skiing are more your style then get to the lake early and enjoy the “glass” water.
Pontoons / Tritoons
Take a pontoon or tritoon out to Lake Pleasant for family fun. The relaxing pace and expansive decks make for a day of taking in the scenery on the lake. Try playing a game with family or friends on the lake in your pontoon such as:
Water Basketball – Attach a floating basketball hoop to your pontoon boat and play a game of hoops in the water.
Tubing – Pontoons are excellent for first-time tubers, as they don’t create the massive waves other boats do.
Water Pong – Spice things up on the water by pulling a water pong game behind your boat and tossing sacks into it.
Speedboats
Take a speedboat out on the lake for a day of excitement and adventure. Make waves and memories when you explore Lake Pleasant from a state of the art speedboat.
Jet Skis
Head out on your own, or with up to three on each jet ski to ride the waves from passing boats for a good hopping time. Bring your own, or rent one at the lake to race around the coves with your friends and family. You’ll be exhilarated by the wind running through your hair while you jump waves and race from one side of the lake to the other.

Lake Pleasant’s many boating and swimming docks with easy beach access make it an ideal location for scuba diving. Take a beginner diving class or wander through the waters on your own. See the lake’s marine life up close and personal by diving into Lake Pleasant’s waters.
