Small Boat That Makes a Big Wake
The WT-1 Heyday boat was manufactured from 2017 - 2020. And the ‘WT’ stands for “wake tractor,” because this boat was made to plow a hole through the water. Later, Heyday made other WT models and this was designed to be a small boat that can make the wake of a big boat. You can tow it with a light SUV and it’s small enough to fit in a standard garage.
The WT-1 model is 19’6” in length with a capacity of 9 passengers, 320 - 350 horsepower fuel engine, 1,200 lbs ballast, and 8’1” beam.

Hey Day Wake Boat Hull Design
All Heyday wake boat models have a unique hull design that were designed by wake enthusiasts. Unlike other boats, Heyday boats don’t use shaping tabs, gates, or add-ons which only drive up the price and complicate the design. It also makes the engine more fuel efficient.
By redesigning the hull to optimize the transom, ballast, and freeboard depth, Heyday boats have created a well designed wake boat that makes wake sports a breeze.
Transom
A standard wake boat has a transom that intersects the water line at 90 degrees, but Heyday’s transom intersects at 117-degree angle which makes a natural and clean surf curl. And this beautiful curl is fed by water that is being pulled around the soft corners of the hull, for a wave that just keeps going and going. Torque produced by the prop and drag from onboard weight is reduced by the boat’s extra wide stern. This makes for an all-around better wake than competitors.
Ballast
Ballast is what gives the boat stability. Every wake boat needs ballast but some boats just don’t do it well. Instead of using ballast bags which need to be manually filled, Heyday has integrated subfloor hard tanks into the hull which maximize ballast without sacrificing under-seat storage.
When the ballast is full it pushes the boat downward to give you more pop on your favorite tricks. A hard-tank ballast also eliminates the maintenance that comes with bag ballast. That means you spend less time cleaning and more time shredding.
Freeboard Depth
For most wake boats, water displacement is limited by the boat’s side height which is called freeboard. But Heyday wake boats are built with a deeper freeboard which increases the amount of hull that can be pushed into the water. This adds more capacity to the ballast which causes a greater downward force. This pushes a taller wake behind the boat which ultimately makes a better ride.
